Amazon's list prices are always a joke. Walmart has this list price as $30.99, so it's not as good of a deal as Amazon makes it seem.

Agree.

The van is a $15 or $20 set at best (there are similar size/piece vehicles in this price range, easy to search to verify). Not sure how they justify the additional pieces to be worth $20-25 msrp.

I just saw this at WM yesterday in the store and it was almost $45 which is the list price on this set. Whether or not it's worth that is debatable but it is about $17 off for this deal.

Yeah my daughter asked for this for Christmas. Turns out she didn't care about the truck at all, she just wanted the food pieces. She still built the truck but she rarely plays with it.

Strangely this set has already been discontinued, after only six months of official availability. Maybe it wasn't selling well enough (perhaps due to the high MSRP) and LEGO decided it wasn't worth making more. In any case, if you want it, now is probably the time to get it.

Before the set was released it was rumored to be retiring at the end of 2022. The price in Europe is much better so LEGO already figured out how many they wanted to sell before it was released.
