Wonder if it works with a otterbox defender on a pixel 7 pro? Amazon has 3 reviews with a otterbox defender case and 1 says yes and 2 say no... anyone with first hand experience ?
Had this stand for a year after owning half a dozen charging stands over the past decade. Best stand by far in terms of design & functionality, worth the price over cheap amazon alternatives.

This stand is generally a solid option for those simply seeking a 15W Qi wireless charger (the mode to which this charger defaults for phones other than modern Pixel devices).
This charger also has particular value for Pixel owners seeking the fastest (>20W) wireless charging.
However, the real value I'd get from this charger (as a Pixel owner) would be the unique ability to control the speed of wireless charging on Pixel devices.
Change charging modes on a Pixel Stand (2nd gen)
If you have already completed Pixel Stand app onboarding, you can choose from 3 charging modes:
Optimized (default): Balances charging speed with fan noise for the best out of box experience
Max: Charge at the highest possible speed, given device conditions, battery charge level, and other factors.
Quiet: Make the fan run as quietly as possible.
To select a mode as the default for your Pixel Stand (2nd gen):
Open your phone's Settings app.
Tap Connected devices.
If you don't see "Pixel Stand Gen 2" under "Previously connected devices," tap See all.
Under "Other devices", tap "Pixel Stand Gen 2".
On the "Device Details" screen, Scroll down and tap "Charging mode".
Tap a charging mode.
To temporarily change modes:
Place your phone on the stand.
Tap the screen to bring up the Pixel Stand Control Screen.
Tap a charging mode near the bottom of the screen.
The next time you use your Pixel Stand (2nd gen), the charging mode reverts to the default setting. When you activate the setting with a tap or set as a persistent setting, the button changes to the phone's accent color.
