This was on sale for $49 a few months ago, but still seems like a good price

Great light, not so great price.
This is the regular sale price, I remember when I first bought this light it came with a 2ah for $59.
I bought this last time and it is an excellent small light. Keep in tool box all the time. I am a DeWalt guy but have a couple of M12 items and this is one of my favs.
Same here. I really like this light, especially for working on cars, but I don't feel like it is worth the regular retail price. Always a good opportunity to catch it on sale.

My go to light for most things. Using an xc battery it has a solid base and the magnet is incredibly strong if you want to attach it to metal. USB charging on it is the icing on the cake.

Yeah I was trying to remember the best deal I saw on this... seem to recall the deal you got. No doubt that is a good buy with the battery.

Is this magnetic? Like to be able to stick on the hood while working on the car

Yes, directly behind the light up part is magnetic strips. Not the greatest part of the design, might really be my only compliant tbh. Great light overall dunno how slick this price is but it was definitely worth more than whatever I paid when I got it I was a little dubious but it was a good battery plus light deal and I wanted the batteries at the time. Ended up loving the light.

Yes it's magnetic and holds very well, however some car hoods are aluminum for most newer cars. Still a great light with USB charging capability

Not at this price, no.
The tool-system LED lights are still kind of overpriced imho, but they ALL are so if you want one you pay the premium.

In for one, would like to see it cheaper but it'll make a great small complement to my larger 18v panel lights.
