I am a hostage to what Games with Gold used to be. Xbox pouts out nothing but arcade trash and PS+ keeps dropping AAA games.

For the King is good, but be warned it does have a lot of "You lose" RNG mechanics/events.

Another month of trash. Games with Gold doesn't even matter anymore, it's all about what is coming to Game Pass from month to month.

Yeah.. it is so sad how bad the offerings have become with Games with Gold. It is almost like they just gave up and handed the keys to the kingdom to PS, Nintendo, and even Steam. The only reason people even buy Gold any more is just to convert to Game Pass. My 3 year game pass subscription expired, but right now, there are just not enough great games to justify reupping for 3 years, at least as of today. I am not personally that into the vastly large collection of indie games on offer with Game Pass. Right now, I have jumped back to catching up on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch back logs until hopefully, Microsoft catches up. PlayStation Plus at least have been giving users pretty good titles the last few months and before, however they have not so great offerings on the higher tier levels considering the high price. I don't have Nintendo Switch Online, but most those games "thrown in" with their subscription, play better via emulation on either PC, or even Steam Deck if you happen to have or want one.

Xbox definitely lacks first party games, but 2023 is looking better than last couple years for them. Hi-Fi Rush just came out, so once a while Microsoft still releases some great games.
