I am fortunate enough to have bought this when it first came out, at $250. I love it, it stores much easier than my previous table saw and the built in legs are even better. I have used it for 5+ projects so far, and its been great.

I have been looking at this and also the 8.25" Dewalt that often sells for $299. I have portable work tables I could put the Dewalt on. Wondering how frequently I would need to cut the the thicker wood.

Another difference is that the arbor on the DeWalt is not long enough to accept a dado blade. If you plan to cut grooves using one of those the Skil is better.
