I was able to after calling and waiting an hour on hold to talk to a service rep. I placed an order on Friday and told them I wanted to cancel my order. The rep said the order is already tracking and she asked why I wanted to cancel it. I told her it's currently listed $200 cheaper. She said I'm glad you told me, I can refund you $200 and once it's been fully billed (I'm guessing that means delivered to my home), the $200 difference will be refunded back to my original payment method.

I very much dislike the fancy screen on my Nordic-track. It is unusable if you don't pay for the service.

If I could go back and do it again I would buy this one.

its the exact reason bought this. Fancy screens and technology will get outdated and cause more issues as they push firmware on wifi. this one is old tech , they cannot do planned obsolescence.

Good day all,

Just a word of caution regarding the delivery…

They advised in their confirmation that the would deliver

Your machine will be delivered through the threshold, for example: your entryway or garage.

This is not the case…

The delivery company ABF will not deliver through the threshold only to a garage. Customer service is not interested in addressing this issue. If you are expecting this through the first threshold such as your front door, this will not happen.
Uh oh… think there is a chance to request some % off since the delivery statement wasn't fulfilled if this is the case?

I am going back and forth with them regarding this issue. I would call them and not accept delivery until this matter is resolved.

Below is the BS excuse that doesn't hold water as my first dry threshold is my front door

I heard back from our department that handles the deliveries. We are not going to be able to accommodate your request. Your purchase included threshold delivery only. Threshold delivery is to the first dry area or the garage. They do not go inside homes. The only exception to this is if you have purchased the in home assembly with the delivery.

I copied and pasted the exact verbiage from their email and sent it back to them.

Anyone have any feedback on how this thing holds up to sustained high speeds?

I'm a former competitive runner and am getting a bit mentally worn down after 31 years running in Massachusetts winters outside every night. Looking for something to get through some of the colder nights, but it needs to be able to sustain 10 to 11 MPH for 30-50 minutes without overstressing the motor. It seems like most home treadmills are meant for < 10MPH sustained even though some are capable of going faster than that in bursts. Most of the ones meant to do that usually max out at 14 MPH or greater.

MPH and Incline look great! If you don't need a fancy screen... I would totally jump on this!!! Metaphorically...
no one needs a fancy screen. It's just another thing to break and another monthly service fee for the content

I don't agree with your blanket statement of "no one needs" as you don't actually know that... but I do agree it's another thing to break. If mine had a better screen I wouldn't have had to mount a separate TV in front of treadmill.

With how cheap this is, you could just buy an ipad, use it as the screen, and still come out cheaper.

while the customer service wouldn't commit more, I found the driver was very polite and helpful. He even got it into my walk in basement. I tipped him after the fact but he seemed polite. YMMV

I would recommend looking into commercial series from sole or nordictrack

We can have a semantic argument about "need", but this is a treadmill, we could all run outside if we wanted. Also, we don't need to watch TV when we run. In addition, we all have iPads, phones, computers, TV's throughout our homes. We don't NEED another screen on a device we use 30-60 minutes a day at most, because we all probably have 10 screens to choose from already. I'm comfortable with my words. It's just another way to jack up the price and add something else they can charge $500 to fix later.

you are looking for a white glove delivery. They usually bring it inside, set it up and dispose of the trash.
