I was able to after calling and waiting an hour on hold to talk to a service rep. I placed an order on Friday and told them I wanted to cancel my order. The rep said the order is already tracking and she asked why I wanted to cancel it. I told her it's currently listed $200 cheaper. She said I'm glad you told me, I can refund you $200 and once it's been fully billed (I'm guessing that means delivered to my home), the $200 difference will be refunded back to my original payment method.

I very much dislike the fancy screen on my Nordic-track. It is unusable if you don't pay for the service.

If I could go back and do it again I would buy this one.

its the exact reason bought this. Fancy screens and technology will get outdated and cause more issues as they push firmware on wifi. this one is old tech , they cannot do planned obsolescence.

I don't agree with your blanket statement of "no one needs" as you don't actually know that... but I do agree it's another thing to break. If mine had a better screen I wouldn't have had to mount a separate TV in front of treadmill.
Your statement contradicts itself. You just said it, a TV, iPad, or anything with a screen is better then one that's built in (and likely smaller) that can cause the primary function of the treadmill to stop working. My 5yo Nordictrack is a paperweight now. Ordered this new one and plan on just plopping my iPad on top. Better in everyday then the Nordictrack for half the price.

Thank you for your interpretation but I am not looking for white glove service. Please review the below as it is in the email they sent me. It is quite clear when stating "through the threshold."

Your machine will be delivered through the threshold, for example: your entryway or garage.

Could anyone please let me know if a mat 70"x36" can be used? I read the size on their website but I would like to know the actually size needed where the rollers touch the floor. Thanks!

Just got it delivered inside my garage. Comes on a wood pallet. The thing is very heavy! I'm glad I purchased the $249 service because I'm not trying to move that up a flight of stairs. I attempted to lift it with forearm straps and it was still heavy as hell.

Idk why people argue about "just walk/run outside" Like I can't even believe people are so dumb to make this statement. I live in the Northeast, no one is running outside in the 20 degree weather, especially when its already dark when most people get home from work. There's also a lot of rainy days (so far we haven't got any snow which is good) But snow really puts a stop to things especially while you wait for it to all clear up. I was walking/running outside regularly until the weather stopped me from doing so. I wonder if these people ever go outside themselves, or I guess they live where there's very mild winters and not much rain.

Also as a vampire I sometimes like to do some walking late at night.

As for the "through the threshold delivery" conversation, I assume its just a generic email that expects people paid for the delivery. Not really worth making a big fuss over if the freight guys are only bringing it to your front door. These guys are already busting their asses I'm sure.

If it's practical for them to bring it in through my doorway then I will ask but if not I'm not going to Karen over it.

Ordered one. btw the T616 model has been recalled, but before the recall- the model review itself from consummerreports rated T616 product to be very good and CR recommended. The T618 seemed to be a redesigned machine to fix that problem.

Also there is a 5% CB from SD's competitor.

My shipment is now 15 minutes away at the "destination." The expected delivery date changed from Monday to tomorrow. But I never spoke with them to schedule a delivery time. I'm not sure if I should send an email and tell them I'm available anytime tomorrow. Or maybe they're not that busy and will be able to come on short notice.

I wonder if they won't even bother arranging an appointment and just plan to leave it at the door. The appointment and "need an 18-year old home for delivery" might be assuming the $250 was paid.

I would search eBay for people selling SOLE Fitness Gift Cards and then use that heavily discounted card to buy this awesome mat:

The front feet touch the ground at 29" wide. The back rollers touch the ground at 27" wide. The measurement from the front feet to the back rollers is about 68"

Has anyone ordered with assembly and been able to specify like a late afternoon time or is that just not possible and you get what you get?

I have a 78x36 mat so I'm assuming that will work
