I bought this model through walmart (via adorama) during 2022 Black Friday for $200 and I really like it for ps5 1440p @ 120hz...but using a regular HDMI 1.4 was causing screen flickering, research online said 1.4 was all that was needed for 1440/120hz but the issue persisted with higher quality 1.4s and 2.0s. So I upgraded and bought an HDMI 2.1 cable and no more flickering screen issues at all

I sent back a 34" ultra wide because I missed this monitor. The height is far better than ultra wide imo and the market needs this resolution in a 40" frame (or 4K in the same dimensions). I'm going LG c2 for this reason until the market realizes ultrawides are just not as good as the height these screens provide for productivity
I have the Asus TUF VGv32VQR in my home office. At the moment I currently sometimes connect it to my work computer and sometimes connect it to my home computer the intention to dual screen whichever one I'm on. I was thinking of getting an Asus 27 so that each computer could have a dedicated second monitor. And doing quick searches I see that the ASUS 27 sometimes goes on sale for 200. Would it make any sense to hold out for the next time that goes on sale so they look nice together or should I just get this one?
