Do you mean spinning REEL? If so why not? The product says specifically to use on spinning and casting reels.
The spinning reel will naturally twist the line as you reel, you could use this but you will want to flip the spool over multiple times while filling a spinning rod. A long screw driver held with your toes works just fine, you can then control the tension by pressing the spool to the ground. No matter how you spool any reel, it is always nice to run slowly with a boat and release all your line into the water and then retrieve the line slowish. The friction of the line will maintain a nice tension and this technique will also remove any twist in the line from spooling or after heavy drag use in spinning reels. Cheers
I'm thinking this won't work well with a one piece rod. The rod guides would stop it from sliding down. Probably a better design would be to hinge it so you can place it anywhere along the rod without the guides getting in the way.
There are 2 configurations on this. 1 for caster, and a different one for spinner. Read the instructions. Works perfect with either. I've owned this for years and have spoiled up countless reels.

No… there are 2 different configurations to account for this. One holds the spool verticals, the other horizontal.

It clamps on, clamps off. 1 piece, 2 piece rod makes no difference

It works fine on a spinning reel, this guy either doesn't even own this item, or never cared to read the instructions. It accounts for both spinning and casting reels to position the spool either horizontally or vertically.
Pick up a stick, put it through the hole on your spool of line, cradle it between your knees and presto, it is free with free shipping!!
Why stop there. Take that same stick and save you even more money bubba, just tie that there line to that there stick and Presto. No more need for that expensive hi tech rod and reel.

Yes that does help but you will still have twisting in the line as the ratio of between your spool unwinding and the rotation of the spinning reel will not match. Bottom line (pun intended) you do you, these were just some words of advice, take it or leave it, makes no difference to me.

Naw... You just don't understand how to use this. No twisting in the line if you do it correctly. I assure you.

We used large spools to fill ours back in the day.
I am curious how you find out the promo code or invisible offer like the braid line?
It doesn't show the offer in the website.
