Can you use these for wood as well?

I would like to know this as well, because I had no idea metal circular saws were a thing.
In a pinch, yes... but you don't want to use a metal cutting saw everyday as a wood cutting saw. Typically, metal cutting saws spin slower/lower RPM than wood cutting saws.
But they work in a pinch with an appropriate blade. Metals saws also aren't designed to deal with sawdust from cutting wood. Most are made to deal with metal chips.

I have both and my metal cutting saw is not good for wood cutting. It will work in a pinch, but is not designed to do that. My metal cutting saw actually has a "chip collector" that collects small chips of metal, but it fills up in seconds when cutting wood. My metal saw also spins lower RPM than my wood saw.

It works, but is nowhere close to ideal.
I personally would not double duty a metal cutting saw for wood cutting.

I did a carport roof and chose plastic over sheetmetal due to cutting difficulty and chance for error .. I can see this saw being a gamechanger.
They make angle grinder style blades for metal cutting, but you need a variable speed unit. Metal cutters unlike grinders run at lower rpm. Reciprocating blade types for deformable materials leave a rough edge.

Bandsaw does a better job on every aspect except sheet metal goods. But being circular, it is definitely not good for turning. Your better off with a nibbler or shears. Most sheers are good between 16-18ga. EMT, conduit, pipe, threaded rod, are all done better with a bandsaw. I can only see these being better for commercial kitchens (stainless wall) and metal roofing products.
