I don't support brands that are anti-dad.

I'm assuming they are referring to the brand name being "4moms"

This is for a Rockaroo, not a Mamaroo. They're totally different items.

Tons of these on 2nd hand marketplace
That's where I got mine, loved it, cleaned it, and resold it for the same price

had one, never used it. Baby didn't really like it either.
So dumb, don't understand how so many people buy these things without ever testing and hoping, a ton of the 2nd hand ones on marketplaces are because of this.

Does anyone know the weight limit for these? or how many month baby needs to be? thanks
The weight limit is 25, but the safety precautions on these devices aren't really weight, moreso your little being able to situp and then falling out while moving even if strapped in (the harness isn't super secure like a car seat)

Definitely check your local market. Got one used for $40, sold it a year later for $60.

It seems these are VERY hit or miss with babies. Mine loved it, but I've heard many many stories from friends with kids that absolutely hated it.

These are polarizing - yes, you can find used ones for $75ish on marketplace, but for new it's worth it to get it with the warranty at this price point. It's not silent, some babies love it, some hate it. Ours loved it but the reason there are so many on marketplace is that it's 50/50. Recall was just a clip for the strap because the strap could pose a hazard to a baby playing around the mamaroo.

Ditto - bought one and kid didn't like it so sold it back to markto, got the standard swinging type worked best, and those I also got used and then sold after grown out.

Highly recommend people stay away from this company. Ours was making a loud banging sound, I lost my receipt and they didn't give a crap. I took it apart and showed them as an engineer that it wasn't properly designed. They just said "there are no known quality issues with the Mamaroo." Horrible company and people.

You say it's dumb to buy without testing. How do I test this??

Nearly all our friends had one of these at one point and the vast majority of our kids hated them. You know what 100% of them loved? The classic Fisher Price swing.

I had a classic Fisher Price swing. By 9 lbs, it no longer had the oomph to swing at all.

Highly recommend not getting this especially if your baby is on the smaller side. It's not comfortable for them and ends up being a useless waste of space.

We had a mamaroo. The baby didn't like it and an infant/toddler doctor of physical therapy friend said these, along with regular swings, while convenient for parents, are not good for a soft baby skull and can lead to asymmetry.

Yeah waste of money. The speakers on the mamaroo are terrible as well. Function-wise, it's lacking for how much it costs.

This thing is awesome. I think you can even use a bunch of D batteries and make it cordless.
