How loud is this thing? I got another brand from Costco years ago and it's annoyingly loud. The inside started to show rust so I'm tossing it and want a quieter one. I used it all the time, was great just loud

Wash it first and run it on high a good 2-5 times on high until the smell is gone. Seems every modern kitchen item that heats up has this, often in the manual it will have their recommendation regarding it as well.

Often these are returned because people don't know this or didn't rtfm.

You can def hear it, but doesn't sound bad or annoying to me, I will find out next week when mine shows up, we use the hell out of the air fryer/grill (Ninja Foodi) that we have, it sucks when we want two things from the air fryer in the same meal (like anything else + fries or tater tots), it will be nice to cook both things at the same time, assuming the breaker can handle it. It will also be nice to not have to clean the foodi grill when making some quick fries, that thing is a PITA to clean, this looks much easier.
