The total output is 65W between all ports. Some laptops will not charge below 65W thus you won't be able to utilize the other ports while charging a laptop like that. Also, doesn't support 220V thus not suitable for travel.

i have same brand different usb c + usb a multi output charger. it is the worst charger. it heats a lot. when you plug in a device existing one stops charging. i wouldn't recommend this brand.

Is it me or there seems to be a high uptick in this brand's posting? Paid shills or this company decent?

I bought this at full price a month ago and it was definitely worth it. Took it with me to Japan for a month and it made managing my devices hassle free.

It supports samsung's super fast charging 2.0, even with other ports being populated.

I'm kinda upset that it goes on sale a month later but whatever. I only used the AC ports to plug in a TV and network modem and it still worked fine.

This is the every day price at Aliexpress for the same brand and model. So the MSRP shown on Amazon is quite inflated!

Has anyone done the math on what that would cost, bulk, weight, etc? Seems like a no brainer maybe
My profession includes assisting healthcare facility users with cable management. The cable basket I had mentioned along with the power strip will weigh nothing more than 5 lbs. If your desk can't hold more than 5 pounds of uniform load to the edge, then you have a bigger problem.

I'm sure your electronics already came with usb outlets, if not go grab some at a liquidation store. Your unit cost should not be anything more than a 15 dollar plus the cost of a basket.

It's a name brand in China. Funny thing is Anker is actually not that famous in China before. I guess they main focused on Amazon.

This is not a typical cheapo 2.4/3.0A USB-A/C cube. If you think they're the same, you have no idea what you're talking about.

It's not like you can't plug in usb c adapters to a regular power strip to get the same power source. There's also power strips that has usb c with the same distribution for much cheaper.
Sure, but to get the same number of USB ports with the same power output and distribution as this you're going to have to spend $25-$35, plus the cost of the power strip, so it'll be around the same or more, and a lot bulkier. The little 2.4A/3/0A cubes that used to come with smartphones don't cut it. And I have power strips but prefer this all in one combo solution for my situation. And I've never seen a power strip at this price point with multiple USB A & C ports putting out 65W.

Maybe you don't understand what this device does and is for, or the latest USB standards? If you think you do, please provide examples of what you're claiming.

You'd rather buy from Aliexpress than Amazon, given the latter's delivery times and return policies?

The heat issue is a known one but doesn't appear to affect it's performance. And the other issue is due to the device's recalculating how to distribute power and only lasts a few seconds, which the company explains in the product page. I understand that most similar devices at this price point have the same drawbacks. Do you know of any that don't?

I don't get that behavior from any aukey or anker models. Plus, it is not momentory, you have to unplug and replug the other device to resume charging. And many times, I found charging had stopped and haven't charged one device at all even after doing the unplug / replug. It just stops charging

Well that's not acceptable. I'll check for these issues when I get my unit and if it proves to be unacceptable I'll return it and get something better. This deal post wasn't an endorsement. I just wanted to let people know about it so they could decide for themselves. I usually don't post deals that I haven't bought myself.

Cool. Just to be completely clear, as I said in my original comment, the model I have is different than what you shared here, still GaN and multi output, but I got it like 2 years ago. Hopefully they fixed those issues and you will be happy with your purchase. I never had these issues with Anker. That's why I will probably go with them for such purchases until a better alternative come up.

Haven't never heard of the name brand before, I'll just store this to the back of my mind and buy from Anker until I see the brand is still around after 3-5 years and not another chinese company that changes name anytime something questionable happens.
Personally, I wouldn't buy an expensive laptop/phone to cheap out on a spare charger/cable but I would like others to let me know if they did or didn't have any bad experiences.

A valid concern in a general sense, especially with relatively unknown brands, but I haven't come across any reviews, here, on Amazon and elsewhere, that indicate that this particular unit has serious issues or damages the devices it powers. When I get mine I'll post an update with my first impressions, and if it ever does flake out, I'll post that too, here and on Amazon.

Again, I'm not endorsing this device, just letting others know about this deal. In terms of features, putting aside quality, it's very price competitive with what's out there. Of course that's all moot if it's crap, but I've no indication so far that it is.

I got the 65W dual usb C/dual USB A from them for $40 in August of 2022 to use as a travel charger. It feels like this thing charges really slow when using the USB A ports for charging my phone and Apple Watch. Feels much slower than the 5 x USB A port 40W charger I have from Anker.

I have this. Not worth even 50 range. Bought several of the ISDT Power 200 and ISDT Power 200x near the 100 range but first time in a while, found a charger that does not interrupt/restart any ongoing charging sessions merely by plugging another device.

What about $40 range, which is what it's currently going for? And what's the big deal with power going off for a few seconds as it's reconfiguring output when a new device is plugged in, so long as it comes back on? What kinds of devices will suffer from that? Won't the internal batteries of the devices being charged take care of the slack for those few seconds? Or is the issue with devices that have no internal batteries and are being powered, not charged by this, and is so what kinds of devices are those?
