A number of game titles and associated add-ons will be removed from the Xbox 360 Marketplace in a select set of regions per title. These removals will start on February 7, 2023.
Once purchased, you can always redownload these games or any other previously purchased games from your Xbox 360 Download History.
Daytona USA - Classic arcade racing game. This is a bit expanded from the arcade version as it includes some new modes. Challenge, time trial, and everyone's favorite... Karaoke.
Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 - super fun co-op zombie killing game by Valve. Back 4 Blood was inspired by these games... and these games do it a lot better.
Jet Set Radio - AMAZINGLY fun game. Hi-Fi Rush and Sunset Overdrive are current comparables. If you like over-the-top stories, skateboarding/rollerblading, and awesome music - you'll love it.
Lost Odyssey - Very fun Final Fantasy-like JRPG. Don't bother with it if you don't like JRPGs. If you do, definitely buy.
The Orange Box - Awesome collection of Valve games including Everyone should own this.
Games included:
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2:Episode 1
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Team Fortress 2
Portal
I'm sure people will have other opinions, but this is a great start.
(I would have included Castle Crashers because it's an amazing beat-em-up, but you can get the remaster on current gen.)
List of games that will be removed from the xbox 360 marketplace and aren`t available to digitally purchase as backwards compatible games, as native versions or as remasters on xbox one and xbox series x/s:
Blood of the Werewolf
Counter-Strike: GO
DAYTONA USA
Defense Grid
Final Fight: DblImpact (Available in Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle)
Iron Brigade
Jeremy McGrath's Offroad
Jet Set Radio
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Mutant Blobs Attack
Prince of Persia (2008)
R.U.S.E.
Sega Vintage Collection: Alex Kidd & Co.
Skate 2
Spelunky
The Orange Box
Accurate, but also be aware that some of these games (like Daytona USA) are ONLY available from the 360 marketplace. So once it is delisted, it is gone.

This sounds like forcing us to buy games without a sale. I have followed Buddhism and removed my desire for software games. How do they like them apples now?
That's the 360 marketplace, you may need to add a pay method even though it is free. And although I installed on my Xbox Series it does not show in my list of owned titles.
Thanks. I'll update the link to that one instead. It seems to work.

I wonder why Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are being delisted. Lost Odyssey is one of my favorite games and really wish it received a PC port.
I believe they are just delisting these two on the 360 marketplace only and they will still be available through the Xbox One and Series store. I thought the same thing when I first saw this post.
Wish they would put these on sale before they delist them. Wouldnt mind picking up a couple but not paying full price especially $20 for left for dead.
A shame that nobody cares for Prince of Persia 2008. I think it's an underrated gem, tbh, other than the way they split the real ending into DLC but that seemed to be a thing around that time for games I think.
Does anyone know what the hell happened to Condemned 2 on the Xbox Marketplace? The 1st game is available but the 2nd one is gone. Did they also "delist" that?
Digital gaming, you will own nothing and be happy.
It's becoming scary how often I'll hear about a classic older game people like, and when I try to buy it there's no way to anymore. Why I have no regrets emulating now days.
Guess buying games for the 3rd and 4th times is the new normal

You can still buy them and download them after they get delisted, you just can't buy them with your Xbox 360. You can still buy them with an Xbox One, Series, PC, Android, etc. Microsoft just doesn't want people buying shit with a Xbox 360, because security cost in payment transactions.
Just bought Daytona USA and the The Orange Box. Trying to decide if Left 4 dead 1 and 2 are worth rebuying. Are the servers still up?
Servers are still up.
Honestly, I'd suggest just buying physical copies of L4D and L4D2 if you can. You can pick both of the games up for the price of one of them digitally.

This is true with some of the games, but a lot of them will no longer be available digitally through any avenue after the 7th.

I wish I got an announcement like this when Simpsons Arcade and X-Men arcade were delisted
Of course you won't be able to go online or play multiplayer, not that most of these game servers are still operational anyway
