Very stiff almost as if it were throwing you off the seats. Seat depth is also shallow, would not feel comfortable for 6 ft tall. I would not recommend buying big ticket furniture online without atleast trying them in person.
Purchased a $1k leather sofa from Costco a few years ago and not sure that I'd ever purchase furniture without being able to test drive for comfort. It's a beautiful looking sofa, but is only comfortable partially/fully reclined, way too stiff in the seated position. Luckily it's mainly used to nighttime TV/movie viewing. Was hoping that it would eventually break in, but still the same after a few years of daily use.

I have this exact same set but only with one chair. It was around $3K price back in 2020. So far it has held up pretty good even after two jumping kids 24x7. Seats are little firm but not a major issue.

thanks for sharing. that set is really popular on costco's site. i keep an eye on it a lot in case it goes on sale. def one of the nicer sets.
I placed an order for this item but canceled it today. I had a Samsung refrigerator delivered yesterday by Costco and the delivery guys broke my Ring doorbell and damaged main door. Trying to stay away from buying large items from Costco.
Do they come pick it up if you need to do a return?
Yes that is what the rep said. This is if u order online. If u buy from brick and mortar u have to return it in person. Again, i have never purchased furniture from costco. Buying this set for 1st time

Great comment, but personally I feel like I don't learn much from trying something out. I can't tell how it will feel after a while of sitting on it or in different weathers. I think I'm improving, but I've historically been very bad at this.
Costco seems to have generous returns. Never seen any furniture company offer much returns option
Be careful assuming Costco will take this back if you have an issue in a few years.
I was denied a return on a 5 yr old lane leather chair. The leather was wearing where the seams were on the edge of arms, top of back and the ottoman was a mess. Costco said they don't carry the recliner anymore and wont take returns on non inventor. II was told to contact Lane. Lane said they don't make it actually and to call leather solutions. I could never reach anyone. Ask about the fine print and maybe get an extended warranty.

That's what they pay insurance for. Call and complain and they will make it right. Accidents happen.

Also had this set for about a year and ended up returning it for the same reasons. Looked fantastic, but I never looked forward to actually sitting or laying down on it.

If you're so unhappy with it, call them to return it. They willl come pick it up.

Neither really, just a comment. I was well aware that I could return this and is why I purchased from Costco. My wife ultimately convinced me to keep it as it looks great in the room and is comfortable when reclined. I hate shopping at my local furniture stores as the salesman are vultures. I did previously purchase another leather sofa directly from the warehouse and that is much more comfortable.

RMA is built in price. If I was selling furniture for those prices, I'd do too.
true. many times local furniture stores offer better prices but their after sales services suck big time.

She must know I'm thinking about this couch. Perfect for scratching.
