Very stiff almost as if it were throwing you off the seats. Seat depth is also shallow, would not feel comfortable for 6 ft tall. I would not recommend buying big ticket furniture online without atleast trying them in person.

Purchased a $1k leather sofa from Costco a few years ago and not sure that I'd ever purchase furniture without being able to test drive for comfort. It's a beautiful looking sofa, but is only comfortable partially/fully reclined, way too stiff in the seated position. Luckily it's mainly used to nighttime TV/movie viewing. Was hoping that it would eventually break in, but still the same after a few years of daily use.

I don't place the sofa against the wall, and its back generally looks good. Although the back is made of leather, it's not full-grain leather, and you can distinguish the difference by touch or close inspection.
