Anyone have an opinion on this vs Razer Huntsman V2? I just picked up the Razer, but at $200 I'm kinda getting buyer's remorse.

Ya, I wish it had hot swappable switches. That's a deal breaker for me right now. The SteelSeries New Apex 9 TKL with hot swappable switches is $120.

I have this one. Love it.

I'm not going to reveal just how many hours AMD video drivers say I've been gaming since mid 2020 (and maybe it's accurate), but all that time has been on this keyboard, no issues.

I'd switch them, personally. I got the pink Huntsman on clearance a couple years ago for $75 because I really wanted the pink, but I would easily swap for this keyboard in a heartbeat because I dislike the Razer software.

Doesn't it turn and stay white when on? At least the caps, haven't checked NUM

it's a good keyboard but it's only available in black

the switches are top of the line and you can change the caps with prisms

it's a bit over priced even with it their current lineup and the pro keyboard that was $139 on sale recently that has the optical keys

it's so ironic how mice went from optical lasers and now keyboards are coming TO optical sensors lmao

logitech is super expensive compared to all the other gamer like keyboards so if you look at any logitech mechanical you will think these are cheap for what you get

i think omni point is gimmicky but i also bought into the tactile mouse; the omni point just gives more steps to a single key press and i doubt that many can be conditioned into knowing how to exploit that feature to the fullest cause many people either touch their keys lightly or bottom it out; not straddle the keys, if anything they would have a macro to rapid turbo the key

When I plug their USB keyboards into my computer, somehow they generate an ad popup to install some SteelSeries software to control the keyboard LEDs. Don't know how they're doing it over USB. It's maybe executing an application directly saved to the keyboard?

i thought it would of been able to be done in the steelseries utility as a toggle to light it a certain way
