New here I just bought the phone and the port number trough ebay my question is if I get my order until march 14 my port number will be invalid since only valid for 21 day what can I do?
Not much you can do about the expiring number. Fi lets you change the port-in number and/or its account info up to the moment when you're about to activate the SIM. So, once you've received the email that your order has shipped (and should arrive in 2-3 business days), buy a new number then log into your Fi account and update the port-in info. I posted about that within the last 2 days.

To clarify, do not move the SIM from the old phone to the S23U. Activate the SIM in the S23U and it'll ask if you want to transfer service from the old phone to the S23U. Reply Yes. No movements of the SIM cards. See screenshots below.
Oh wow, I didn't even realize that.
I was just going to swap the old sim in the new one.
That's a really good information !
The phone from fi comes sealed with SIM card attached on the box?

Thank You,

Can you explain what do you mean you activated sim from Best Buy? Which service is it and is it only to port to Fi?
I see Texas-Smokey already answered.
I did that so I don't have to worry about porting and seemed a simpler process.

Thank You,

I don't know about the S23. All my Fi S22 phones came in a sealed box, but the SIM was already installed inside. Don't know if Samsung does that for Fi, or someone at Fi installed the SIM then sealed the box.

Samsung probably does that for Fi. While I don't have s22 or s23 but i bought the motorola from fi before and it has " google fi program" pre-installed on it which is different than the normal motorola version if you buy from ebay/amazon/... it also have a fi sim inside

Only new customers, however you should find and purchase from Corporate store instead Authorized dealers/retailers

Actually the opposite. It's for new lines being ported to Metro.

Existing customer or not. Doesn't matter you have to bring a new line to Metro.

A new number must be ported to Metro (which is not from T-Mobile).

Since as usual there is a lot of confusion. In the last year I have successfully done three Fi purchases all with tradeins. Everything went well. Tradein horror stories seem to be overrated.

First was s22 plus for $399 with iphone 11 tradein for $320.
Second was s22 ultra for $599 with s21 tradein for $580.
Third was pixel 7 for $399 with iphone 8 tradein for $399.

In all three cases the tradein value was refunded back to my card around 1-2 weeks after I sent the tradein phone.

In my case I ported in Google Voice dummy numbers and kept thr line active for 120 days paying $20 + taxes each month.

In all three cases I removed the Fi SIM, put it aside and put in a non-Fi SIM and used the phone. What I made sure was not to use the Fi SIM in another phone.

There is a counter in fi.google.com "Billing" section which shows a instant rebate counter. That can be used to make sure all aspects of the instant rebate are being satisfied.
You didn't mention whether you traded in carrrier locked/unclocked one. I am just curious googlefi accepts carrier locked phone or not. I am planning to buy and trade in metrobyTmobile Iphone 11 64gb which comes carrier locked for 6months.
