I have ordered S23U using a GV number (Port In) and now I have a new number. Any idea how can I update it on the existing order. or do I need to place 1 more order with the new number and cancel the existing one with GV?

So i dont want to port in my actual number can i use something like those speedtalk $5 preloaded 1 month sims you get on ebay. activate it to get a number then port that into googlefi and then just never use that number. while keeping the phone and paying for 4 months of service before deactivation it?
I was thinking of getting a second number on mint sim and using that to port. 15 bucks for a month.

Just about to pull the trigger, and now it's out of stock. Are they adding more periodically?

Yes the green, cream and lavender keep going in and out of stock the last couple hours I've been watching. The green doesn't last very long and the black I've not seen come back in stock.

Hi I was gonna order a boost number off ebay and the listing says it'll only be active for 14 days. Would that still work if the shipping date isn't for a month?
No, port in happens at activation, which considering the phone wouldn't ship till end of this month, no.

If you go to Google Fi account, look for "Number ready for transfer" and click "Update Info"

It should then give you the option to change the phone # you want to port in from.
Thank you, Just did it

How often does the stock refresh? Do I need to keep hitting refresh on my browser all night?

I've not been sitting there refreshing over and over again but it seems like sometimes it may be 5 minutes and other times it may be 30 minutes. But I'm just checking in randomly so it's hard to say.

Those recently joining on this deal who may have questions about porting in a phone # as a new Google Fi customer, OR using an existing Google Fi # as an existing Google Fi customer, best read pages 87-97 here for some very informative posts on the eligibility of a ported phone #, OR how/where to get a Google Fi Sim to become an existing customer.
The OP also has some very good information and it's highly recommended reading.

In short, you can become a Google Fi customer now by getting a Google Fi Sim from Best Buy or another place and activating it with a phone #. ONLY then, AFTER that # is working and you are an existing Google Fi customer, (that may take a day or two), can you place the S23 order.
OR
You can port an ACTIVE, VALID VOICE/TEXT/DATA phone # right BEFORE you activate the S23 phone and its Sim, after you receive the S23 phone and its Sim.
IF you port, you can put ANY acceptable number at the time you order, BUT you do not have to use that # when you do the activation above.
The acceptable port phone # at the time of the order, DOES NOT MEAN that it will be accepted at the time of the ACTUAL ACTIVATION, UNLESS it's an ACTIVE, VALID VOICE/TEXT/DATA phone #.

IF one does not wish to gamble about qualifying for the $500 or $600 credit and does not wish to get later charged if the VALIDITY of the port in # is rejected, one better strictly follow the T&C of THIS PARTICULAR DEAL as stated by Google Fi:

"You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Numbers ported in must be from carriers that have calling, voice and data services. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible."

AND:

"If Fi determines that this offer is used in connection with abuse, misuse, or fraud, or if the account used to purchase the phone is not in good standing, the discounted amount will be charged to your Google Pay account."

This is unpredictable.
It may show stock as people cancel orders, and/or as Google Fi gets shipments from Samsung.
If a couple or so only show availability, especially about the unusual colors, chances are they're order cancellations.

Good luck!
