Sorry but that is not entirely true. After activating new phone sim with Google Fi, as long as you don't insert the Google Fi sim in a "different phone", you are fine. Most, like myself, simply tossed the Google Fi sim in a drawer and no problems getting the $500. Using a different carriers sim in the S22 the entire time.

FakeBro, stop spreading Fake information. This is 100% not true. In the last 3-4 months, I purchased 3 Fold4 and all were just activated on the device and now the sim is seating in the drawer, and never got a chargeback. And one device has already crossed the qualification period and the other 2 will complete their qualification window in 12-15 days.

Just an FYI on obtaining a valid cell number to port. I posted this earlier on in the thread but seems to have been overlooked by many as this is a long thread.

I ordered the five dollar per month plan on hello mobile website. It includes talk text and 500 MB data. Free sim and taxes included. The account number for porting is given to you in an email and you can see it as well by logging into your account online, no need to use their app. The porting pin is the last four digits of your phone number, I confirmed that with customer service. Hope this helps some here who need a valid phone number to port and do not want to take any risk with GV numbers as things may have changed this year.

And bonus, the five dollar hello mobile plan second month is free. No coupon code or referral required. This comes in handy just in case the delivery date keeps getting pushed back by Google Fi.

DSDS doesn't seem to work if both SIMs are from the same service provider it seems. Tello and T-Mo SIMs don't seem to work simultaneously with Dual SIM Dual Standby. If anyone has it working, please let me know. Thanks

This is what I see in my Fi account.

Your rebate didn't work out
You didn't meet all the conditions for the $600 off Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra instant rebate, so you'll see a charge for the rebate amount on your next bill.

I cancelled S23U order, that I placed in the morning yesterday, later in the afternoon. Then I placed another S23U order. Not sure if the above message is in reference to the cancelled order or something went wrong? Please help.

I hope this works. I created a new Google Voice #, used that to check eligibility, accepted it. Then ordered new phone at $599. Will then pop in my T-Mobile SIM into the S23Ultra, paying $20 a month for 4 months to satisfy the promo.

FYI. I have purchased many of these deals using a number from number barn port out number and have never had any issues. If people are looking for alternatives.

When you cancelled the order did u see the rebate didn't work out info in the account? See the attached screen shots. Maybe things got screwed because I cancelled the first one and then ordered the 2nd one? As mentioned above, there was no request for number transfer when I placed the 2nd one. I assumed it is tied to the Fi plan and number transfer already pending. Should I just cancel the 2nd order and try it with a different account? I don't want to take a chance. Thanks
