For anyone buying Hello Mobile numbers; keep in mind there's a port lock you'll have to ask support to remove (prevents easy or unauthorized port out). They'll probably ask you to stay and ask why you're leaving. Only took 10 minutes but it is a necessary step. Try and complete it before the phone arrives or at least unlock it before you get your phone.

I got my s23u yesterday, having ordered on Feb 13th. I like the new camera bezels and form of the sides, it's a little easier to hold the phone without a case.
Thanks, was wondering why it wasn't working

Did anyone Fi discount countdown stop counting down? Mine seem to stop at 117. I removed the Sim once the countdown started and it only went down from 120 to 117 but now it's been two days on 117
Anything else you did? Where did u port in from? Try reloading the page.

While I agree Samsung film protectors are really good but the feel of glass is incomparable to film-based protectors. Although, twice in a row I have had bad experience with amFilm tempered glass protectors. They used to be one of the best but for some reason the quality has went down for S22 and S23 versions. I would suggest looking into Whitestone. More expensive but maybe worth it.
I prefer glass screen protector as well...but for curved screen, it's been challenging. Especially, not as case friendly. If one drops the phone a lot, then I would suggest glass.

Yes, the SIM is inside. Samsung installed the SIM for Fi before sealing the box.

This is the longest that it's gone - it usually fails within about 5 mins, so I've keeping my fingers crossed this time.

G
And it failed.
I'm going to try and get into chat with fi and see if there's any way they can do something, but when I talked to them the first time, all they could tell me was that it failed - they couldn't tell me why

Just to close the loop. The seller has been helpful in trying to help with this issue, and they have issued a refund since the number won't port over. I would certainly not dissuade anyone from dealing with them - they are responsive to issues, even though ultimately it wouldn't work.

Well, if it happens with the next number you buy for port, wondering if the sim is bad that came with the phone?

I have use whotestone and a much cheaper generic one from Amazon and to me they felt identical. The whotestone tray is way easier to use than the cheap one which broke but the glass went on fine.

Think my tello line was active for about 5 minutes max. Made a test call then ported immediately
