Just a data point, I received my first bill. $3.81 cents in taxes on the $20 flex plan. I'm in So Cal. I pay .84 cents in taxes a month on a 2gb $11 a month Tello plan. So, someone between T-Mobile and my MVNO Tello is eating $3 in taxes, or it's just built in on an already extremely low price.

If you have a detailed bill of your Tello plan, check and see if there are Fees or only taxes. Some Data-only plans don't get charged the various Fed & Universal Fee.

Pathetic so far for me on the replacement
In case if you have received the phone, do they asked you to ship the original phone before shipping the replacement?

My phone shipped with FedEx on Tuesday (Feb 28) from Carol Stream IL and tracking hasn't been updated since then. It shows that it'll be delivered tomorrow, but tracking shows no scans after Feb 28. I hope it wasn't stolen.

So, I purchased the phone and also registered for Google Fi. I also bought a sim from boost for porting. When I get the new phone Should I now port boost number to Google Fi sim and Use the Google sim to activate and keep the sim in drawer and continue using my TMobile sim ?
I kept the fi sim in my phone and use TMobile as esim and set it as primary to make calls and send messages. Also turned off data on physical sim.

Can I take the phone for international travel (Purchase an esim for the country where I am going to). Will the count down continue or since goolge count call the phone any more, so it won't work?

for those who are transferring from hello mobile, be aware that the customer service phone call to unblock number transferring might take more than 30 mins to get to a human. just be prepared. no issues once connected though.
Chat was pretty instant for me

How do you turn the data off on the sim card? I have my T-Mobile set as primary as well. All is good and counting down.
