Is your counter counting down OK?
yesterday it was 93 days, checked few times today and it was still showing 93 days. Checked now, 2PM Central time and now the clock finally shows 92 days. Is this normal?

Also, after I deleted the Google Fi app, when receiving text messages, at the end of the message there were gibberish coding letters/numbers. As an example I was sent a text message: "Hi!" but with the Google Fi app deleted the message came as:
"Hi!
~fdxjhkhAD78+fAt14g"

Contacted the Google Fi support and ultimately was told to reinstall the Google Fi app. When installed - works fine

The counter is only updated every 24 hrs, usually around the same time of day when the phone was activated. What you described is normal.

Haven't seen any posts from other forum members who are using another provider's eSIM along with the Fi physical SIM. I'm not using my S23's eSIM, so can't help there. You can keep the Fi app installed to make things work "right", but keep checking to see if the Fi app sneakily makes the Fi physical SIM primary instead of the eSIM.

It's not a big deal to have the gibberish at the end of text messages, I am a little worried about the message "activate Fi". I didn't install the 2nd eSim yet, that message was from simply deleting the Fi app. I wanted to add today a 2nd sim card (visible eSim) but not sure if it is a good idea. I have a spare phone as well and I can use that phone instead, but more convenient to have 2 sim cards in one

Click on this link to see previews of all the posts in this thread that mentioned "eSIM": https://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php?showposts=1&threadid=16418272&q=eSIM
Browse through the results and click on Post #xxxxxxxx to take you to that individual post. There are a few members who are using the physical Fi SIM along with another provider's eSIM.

So I went to get my screen repaired locally via Samsung Care + and upon inspection, they told me my camera was malfunctioning as well. So now I'm getting a replacement shipped to me. I have no intention on putting the Google Fi sim back into any phone, but Im kind of curious how it would play out if I did put it in my replacement s23 Ultra.

Is the replacement phone coming from Fi or from Samsung Care+ ? Either way, I'd ask Fi support and get them to pair the Fi SIM to the replacement phone's IMEI, just in case you ever need to use your Fi SIM with the replacement phone.

Its coming from Samsung Care+. And yup, that's what I will probably end up doing. Just to keep things consistent.

I haven't ran into any instances of my phone switching from my primary esim to the Fi physical SIM and I've had the Fi app installed the whole time

I have activated a second sim card (Visible eSim) and wanted to set up the Google Fi sim as primary for phone calls and text messages and the 2nd sim card/Visible eSim to be primary for Data. In SIM manager it only has an option to make a Primary SIM for everything. How can I make Fi sim to be primary for calls/texts and data to be the 2nd esim?

Short answer, you can but it's annoying.
Check out this thread on it.

Thank you! The downside is that the settings change from the US to Global and apparently will lose caller id, spam protection and OTA updates.

Another downside I noticed with the 2 sim cards is that when you are on a phone call on one line/sim card - you lose the internet access to the other. For example, somebody calls me on Google Fi then I won't have internet from the eSim, unless I allow the Fi to use internet from Fi. I guess the phone has only 1 internet modem and it can be used by only 1 sim/esim card at a time.

You are correct, the US variant of all Galaxy S23s use "dual SIM standby" and not "dual SIM active" so there is only one set of receiver hardware that both SIMs share. See this website for more details https://gadgetguideonline.com/and...al-active/ and https://gadgetguideonline.com/s23...alaxy-s23/

They send you a phone bill every month, so there is no way to pay early, you have to stay with them for 120 days
