(lol, how do I attach a pic in this app??)
The Slickdeal app and mobile site doesn't support attachments. You can't attach them nor see them. You have to access the SD site using a browser, and select Go Advanced below the post box to see the Manage Attachments option.

Ok thanks.
Per Fi App: Activated the device on Feb 18. (I transferred my existing fi # to my new phone) The circle next to it was checked.
Everything was fine and the counter was counting down until yesterday when the 'rebate invalidated on 4-21' message appeared

Has anyone heard any updates about this? I haven't heard back from the support team that my case was "escalated" to. The $600 per phone charge is showing as "Extras this billing cycle so far" when I log into my Google account. It definitely appears that I'm going to get charged for it. I'm wondering how many of us this has happened to. I've seen several of you post on here that you've gotten this error as well as a few people on Reddit. However, if it's widespread, I'm surprised that there isn't a lot more outrage being posted online. Especially since this thread is 341 pages alone.

There are 4 in this thread: you, MellowGalley, myamex, IndigoWren. I'm sure that if it happened to other members who had participated in this thread, they would've posted by now.

Any resolution on this? Any new emails? This has me worried. I just deleted the fi app, reset S23U and activated on Sprint. Sold my S22U for $700.

I finally received resolution a few hours ago, and I am so relieved. It looks like it was a glitch, at least on my end. I'm sure it'll be similar for everyone else having this issue. Here's the email:

"Notice about your instant rebate

We wanted to let you know that we've resolved an issue affecting your Fi promotion. Due to an error, your instant rebate promotion failed. As a result, you may see an incorrect charge on your pending bill. However, you won't be charged the amount shown in the end.

In addition, a $10 service credit has been applied to your account as a courtesy for the inconvenience.

We apologize for the error and invite you to contact us if you have any questions.

Google Fi Wireless team"

I hope this helps ease some concerns.

Good to hear they resolved your issue. Is your checklist/countdown shown again and is counting down?

I came here to post that I got this exact same email this afternoon.

That said, when I log into my account it still shows that my rebate didn't work out, so the counter isn't back. It also still shows the charges listed under the "extras this cycle so far" section. I'm hoping this gets corrected soon.

I got the same email, but it isn't on mine. It still shows my rebate as failed.

I received the same email. Good news.
My counter isn't working in the Fi app. I'll give it a couple of days before contacting them again bc the app sometimes lags by a day or two or that might be a separate issue they're working on. It's still shows invalidated on 4-21, but email says that's an error.

Has anyone used an international SIM card with these phones?
I just read on the Amazon S23 deal thread that US unlocked S23 devices don't work with an international SIM card even if it's factory unlocked.

I used a physical sim and an international Esim for data only last year in France during the S22 promo.
