Quote from FakeBro One important note people. For 120 days every night at 12 Fi will ping the SIM, if it is not inserted into the phone you bought you get 500$ charged back. You have to use the Fi SIM in the S23 you buy for entire duration of promo. Learned it the hard way. |

$600 off Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra when you activate it on an existing Fi line. Plus, free storage upgrade included.

Standard shipping dates seem to be slipping on the S23 Ultra models (it shows on the last step of checkout). Standard (free) shipping times I'm seeing as of the time of this post:Lavender: Feb 21 - Feb 22 Cream: Feb 24 - Feb 27 Phantom Black/Green: Mar 6 - Mar 13 |

Just checked my order for a Phantom Black and it still says delivery by Feb 21-22. I'm guessing the pre-orders will be processed in a FIFO fashion if Google is saying March 6-13 for orders placed now?
|
Quote
:
Yeah maybe, my says Feb 23-24 for Black

Yes, it's FIFO. The black and green ones are more popular and more people ordered them, so orders placed now for those colors will take longer to ship.

I ordered the five dollar per month plan on hello mobile website. It includes talk text and 500 MB data. Free sim and taxes included. The account number for porting is given to you in an email and you can see it as well by logging into your account online, no need to use their app. The porting pin is the last four digits of your phone number, I confirmed that with customer service. Hope this helps some here who need a valid phone number to port and do not want to take any risk with GV numbers as things may have changed this year.
And bonus, the five dollar hello mobile plan second month is free. No coupon code or referral required. This comes in handy just in case the delivery date keeps getting pushed back by Google Fi.

Is pausing the same as disconnect service? I only see pause option. I did a different Google fi for s22. I'm already past 120 days. Is porting out the only way to cancel/disconnect?
1. Let it go permanently. Service will be terminated immediately. If you have any refundable credit (trade-in credit, remaining days that were paid with a credit card, etc), it will be refunded after two more billing cycles.
2. Port out: service is not terminated until the number has been actually ported out.
If I have remaining Fi credit from referral (not refundable), then after meeting the terms I put my service in Pause, in case there will be another Fi deal later. If I have refundable credit (from trade-in), then I cancel my Fi service to get a refund after two billing cycles.
I ported a GV number to Fi for a different promo. Received all the credit and met the terms for discount.
Now I want to port the Fi number back to GV and it's asking me to pay $20 to port in. I gathered from previous comments that numbers could be ported from Fi to GV & back without fees.
Did you get a reply? I received an email that my case has been resolved. I checked my google account, the $600 charge for the invalidated rebate was reversed and I have a zero balance again. The counter in the fi app still hasn't been fixed. I sent a follow up email about that.
I've sent multiple messages trying to get this resolved. The chat folks were insistent that I have to contact customer support via email. Each time I send an email I get a useless response from a different person. I finally gave up and then randomly received an email stating that the specialist team let them know that my issue was resolved. It had instructions on how to view the promotional status through the app, which is kind of obvious. Then said If I had anymore issues to send them a screenshot. It's obviously not resolved, so I sent them a screenshot of the message saying my rebate didn't work out. I received a reply essentially saying not to worry that I won't be charged and that the rebate failed due to an error and they are aware of the issue. At this point, I guess I'll just manually calculate the days until I can cancel. I just hope I don't see the $600 charges when my next bill is issued. I guess we'll see.

Yep there were a few forums about it. Pretty surprised about it too
Yes, but you will need to repause it after 90 days iirc. Might be a limit on pausing

One of my Fi accounts has $55.01 unused credit, $35.01 of that is trade-in credit. So I cancelled it last month after pausing for a while to get a refund of $35.01.
