Different products. Lowe's is max series these are xr series. Xr series are better products

Your link is the Brushless line... Not the XR line. The XR line is better.

Lowes closed out this XR kit back over the Fall for $155 I think, but inventory is mostly gone at this point.

I have this Impact driver and telling it's awesome is an understatement. It's tackled way more than expected. Ended up getting a different drill so cannot commit on that but you cannot go wrong with this kit for the price.

XR is MAX. All of their 20v* tools are MAX. What MAX means is that the voltage they show is that of a maximally charged battery that is not under load. Their actual operating voltage is 18, just like most other tool brands out there.

(*12v and 60v are similarly called MAX)
