Not yet, right now this is considered the best gaming monitor money can buy (mainly because of its Samsung made, QD-OLED panel.) However, this is the year of OLED gaming monitors and several OLED monitors are slated for release. (LG, MSI, Samsung) This is a 34 inch inch monitor so obviously its far smaller than 45 inches, Go to RTINGS,com and search for this model number, they posted their review last month.

If you're interested in a 34" ultra wide a measly 27" isn't gonna cut it lol

I have perfect vision and it was like staring at an out of focus picture. It's not arguable man I don't know what you're failing to understand, the sub pixel layout is different than most other monitors and the text is LITERALLY less clear, it's a fact. Enjoy your monitor but man you need more of an open mind.

Dell currently offering a coupon on some? all? monitors for 10% off, bringing the price of the AW3423DWF down to $989.99 - lower than the deal that just expired.

Apply the coupon to your cart to see the discounted price.

Is there a direct competitor to this monitor? Looking for an ultra wide one but not too big like that 45" or bigger from Corsair or LG, and to match my RTX 4080.

Quantum dot enhances the color spectrum, providing rich, saturated colors. QD-OLED applies the tech to OLED and supposedly also makes OLED a bit brighter when compared to white OLED, also known as WOLED.

Beware, according to rtings, this can only do 100Hz at 10-bit. That's a pretty big compromise, in my opinion.

Can you please elaborate? I too have seen that, but get conflicting information on how important 8 bit vs 10-bit is to gaming.

I have one and honestly, I cannot tell the difference between 8 bit and 10 bit even while not gaming, so I stick with 8 bit with the higher refresh rate. The down side of the monitor is windows and most software like Google chrome and games in general are not optimized for oled screen so sometimes you would feel the colors look dull or too bright in game because most games are optimized for ips monitors.

Quantum Dot OLED. It's takes the OLED and makes it brighter with better color.

I've been using this monitor for a week now, and it's truly a beautiful display.

I use primarily for work, and don't notice any text fringing issues. I wouldn't even know that was an issue without having read complaints online.

Monitor wants to do a pixel refresh every 4 hours, but it only takes 4-5 minutes, and you can postpone it till you put the computer to sleep if you want.
