I saw this today in my warehouse so good chance yall see it too. Going to return the i5 Acer Vero for this as the i3 vs i5 are minimal, and the AC port for the Acer has gotten worse.

If you can wait, this pc is similar to the 11th gen i3 model that started at this price in the beginning of the year, and clearanced to $299.97 around Oct 2022.

I just bought this chrome book. Would this laptop be better long term? I bought this ideapad for $330. Mainly use it for google docs and streaming. Not much else. I use my Chromebook more than my windows. Seems a nice one you have. I don't know the expiration date but is probably 2027 or so. I doubt this windows here will still be usable for this long because program requirements and only 8gb of ram.

What is this program requirements your talking about that would exceed 8 g ram?

Chromebook AUE does not spell doom and gloom for it; it only will cease receiving security updates, but it will still work; maybe not pay bills or buy stuff online with it? That 11th gen i3 chip vs this 12th gen i3 though do have major differences in performance, but for a chromebook, I doubt one would see those differences. CB OS is much lighter than Windows.

The i3-1215U should be faster than any quad-core Tiger Lake in single-threaded performance, and comparable in multi-threaded. Examples:
