YMMV, obviously, but I ordered two of these and both are unlocked. I have not yet activated the Boost lines that came with these.

Note that one has a 3rd party battery, as I got the warning, and the other has battery health of 83%. I'm guessing they replace the battery if health is less than 80%.

I don't think there was a color option; both phones I got are black.

I set up both phones on wi-fi before inserting a sim card and checked the sim status in the settings. Then I inserted a non-Boost sim to test. I tested with Cricket and Mint sims and both worked fine.

The bodies of each had minor scuffs and scratches, with the screens in very good condition. Screens also appeared to be original, as the "true tone" option is available on both. Face ID worked fine on both as well.

They came in plain white boxes with a Boost sticker on top and had an OEM usb-a lightning cable with a generic charging brick. (if it's not an OEM cable, it sure looks and feels like one)

$100 is a killer deal for a used, unlocked iPhone Xr, and this one includes 3 months of coverage.

Metro deal requires porting over from another carrier, also need to go to store can't order online, and most stores add extra fees like activation/tax on original price, meanwhile this deal can be ordered online, includes 3 months of service, and you don't need to port

For those of you who have posted your order status as "error" did you use a one-time card or Paypal?

I rolled the dice and just used my normal credit card and figured I'd fight any other charges later.

My order history says "In Process" (ordered with the $40 plan)

I give this a 50/50 chance of shipping.

Which Citi Card do you have that allows you to do that, I have the Costco Citi visa and I don't see a virtual option

My Citi Custom Cash card has Virtual card feature. But these virtual numbers are not good for BOOST Mobile phone orders.

Log in the boost website it probably says error
It sure does. Smilie Hope this doesn't cancel orders for those who placed it at $99 + taxes price.

Those who jumped on this deal, how do you cancel the number after you receive the phone so that you don't get charged monthly. I am planning never to activate phone and just cancel the account as soon as I get the phones

How long did it take for your account to show error message? Ordered last night. also, how long do they take to ship?

Does anyone know if the 3 month unlimited SIM can be used with any other phone besides the iPhone XR?
I believe so. boost mobile has a BYOD service (bring your own device) so I think if your phone is unlocked, you are good

On a desktop/laptop web browser, it's under settings (that gear-like thing next to "logout"), then "payments."

https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/...s/payments

Android/iOS app: go to "wallet" (bottom right hand corner), and scroll all the way down.

After logging in, click on your recent Boost's charge, which is pending. You will see a link in the charge's description to deactivate it.
