This is typically the rate this phone is going for from Motorola. I purchased it a few months ago. You can a flip phone form factor with a cleaner version of Android that you get from Samsung. Also, the crease on the screen is not near as noticeable as Samsung's Flip. Finally, the external screen is much more useful than Samsung's. However, that's pretty much the end of the good things. This phone gets pretty hot in use if you're using GPS, Cameras, or playing games. The CPU is more that of a budget phone. It can't really keep up doing anything resembling multitasking. Also, if you're a fan of trading-in/up, no one is giving anything good for trade-in for this phone. Your best bet is to sell it on Ebay/Mercari once you're done with it. I love the concept and the form factor, but you're better off going with Samsung here in the US or waiting for the next Razr which is expected to come to the US later this year.

Thanks ...that's a great review. This is not a deal though. How about Moto Edge Fusion?

Who in their right mind would purchase this screamingly mediocre phone from a mediocre company? Dang, they are still promoting it with Android 10. Didn't even bother to update later batches to a more up to date OS. That's moto for you. Shelling $600 for it? Well, that's borderline insanity

Do you have a source claiming that the razr 22 will be releasing in the US market?
I've been waiting for this since it was announced. Don't know why they wouldn't push for a US release to compete with the Samsung Flip. Don't know how this company can stay in the mobile phone market and continue to make phones.

I wish I did, it's all rumor and speculation at this point. Confidence was really high on an early 2023 release for the Razr 2022 to the US market in order to jump ahead of Google's fanfare for the Pixel Fold, but even that's been pushed to sometime between May and October. I think your best bet now is to import it. Although, if you're looking to import a flip phone I'm seeing really great things from the new Oppo flip phone. The market for fold/flip phones is definitely heating up this year. I just hope we get some new competition here in the US.
