Pixel buds are the only buds that fall out of my ears. and ive been through a dozen or more over the years the problem is partly because the case won't allow any bigger tips than they provide, or they won't charge right. Is the pixel buds pro the same as the pixel buds in size?
I'm going to be honest here: I own all of the pixel earbuds. The originals were great in their own way. The A series feels a lot cheaper and lighter with quite a bit less base. The pro series do not feel good to me at all. They don't feel right in my ear as if I can get a proper seal. I've tried all of the different tips including mix and match combinations. If I pinch the earbud in my ear, I actually get the high feedback squeal that you used to see with hearing aids when you were a kid in old people. And the noise reduction is okay. Not great. I'd say the sound quality is just about that of the original wireless ones. All in all I would go out of my way to get the Sony 1000XM4. Industry leading noise reduction. I also have the over the ears and on flights. I might argue that the Sony buds are both more comfortable as well as better noise reduction. But you can't go wrong with either of them.
It's a tough sell going forward. And they literally feel like dried beans in your ear that don't sit well. Every second I wear them. I fear that they're just going to roll out of my ear or I'll turn my head to quick, which makes you inherently carry your body in a weird ways. I haven't found a single combination between tips and ear placement and pressure that makes these feel good. If you ask me to use a one word description, I wouldn't even go as high as good. I would say that they are fair.
But if you're going for ANC headphones, don't get these and find the extra scratch to get the 1000XM4 refurbished on eBay or wait for it to pop up here. Night and day and worth every penny.
I upgraded from the 2nd gen Pixel Buds and love these Pros. The ANC works pretty well which the previous gens were lacking. Initially I missed the little wings on the 2nd gens but once I got used to the Pro and changed the tips they have been comfy and secure.
Hoping Google drops the price in their store to match this. Some of us have those credits to spend from pixel referral days
They don't work on sale items. Discount will only be applied to retail price. So unless they permenantly drop the price the superfan referral credit won't be super helpful.

Whoa. Was that in the fine print somewhere? I wasn't aware of that.

Nope . Total redesign. They fit me well
Yeah me either, but you're right as far as the price goes. Might test the waters
