Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

Same here. Shipt seems to be a same-day courier service like instacart though. Our packages are still sitting there waiting for a courier to pick it up so I'm still clenching my butt that it may be pulled. My guess is the system pulls the item from a local inventory and pays Shipt to pick it up to deliver it to you. So in the end, the local store who packed it can still pull the item.

Fyi - i got an email that they would not be issuing a refund this morning. I placed an order with them abt 20 hours ago. Had a reference number and everything. Then this morning someone from the customer care team emailed saying after reviewing the details they will not be issuing a refund. Not sure if this is one-off or different rep by rep but thought i would share. This was for ipad air btw… also i did not receive "credit applied" email.. so that could be also another factor that could be different from the others.

Well, I got the Cant price match after i ordered and picked the product up. Spoke to the customer care about the case and he said he cant help. Even he submits again, it will get cancelled. Any thing we can do? or just return it. I paid full price for the ipad

Correct. The latter has happened to me twice for nonsense "out of stock" reasons after being approved. Once they didn't even tell me it was denied, I just had to wait and wait until the end of the return window at which time I called corporate and they told me the PM had been denied (on an $800 tv) and so I had to hurry up and lug the TV back to BB.

I'm not even upset when BB denies a price match, that's fine. But don't approve it and then deny it down the line and especially don't approve it and then deny and say nothing to the customer who will end up paying full price for the product.

BB is a mess lately.

Wait so you already completed the transaction including picking it up and they're still trying to deny the refund? Yikes, that's very uncool. It's one thing to hold the shipment or divert it or cancel before you've picked it up but that is pretty messed up after you physically went to the store for it.
