I noticed Pizza Hut and Jet's pizza are coded as Merchant = Restaurants while Domino's is Fast Food.
In that case, if I want a pizza and the $5 rebate, I should order from Jet's or Pizza Hut but not Domino's

My way of screen-shooting is more sophisticated than your generic one LoL
Here was what I did: from main page after logging in my Chase, I clicked on "See all offers" in 'Chase Offers' box on righthand side, then clicked on 'Added' tab, then selected Each and Every Chase card (that has this $5 Restaurants offer) from 'Choose Acct' drop-down list, then screenshot it.
My screenshots are very account-specific this way, as they included the last 4-digit of my Chase cards. Chase would have hard-time to deny paying me out their promised $5 LoL
As such, I cannot share these screenshots of mine.
FWIW, I got my $5 back a few hours after the offers were removed (I used the card at a restaurant last week).
This mess feels like a glitch that will be fixed eventually, but we should bug Chase support anyway.
Same here, got the email and was surprised as initially I thought it wasn't going to work (tried it at fast food, was the only purchase on that card). So then I went in to remind myself which other cards it was on and it was gone. I had it on 2 other cards so guess I missed out on $10. My purchase was like a week ago. Oddly that same place had its own offer and I got the email right away saying I'd used that offer - but not the restaurants one, which is why I assumed it didn't take for fast food.
i've added two offers (there was a $5 back from grocery store and this restaurant offer). afaik i satisfied all reqs but received nothing back. like others say when i checked the account the offers either dont show or the dates are changed. nobody has time followup with chase for 5$ but clearly something's wrong with the way these offers are disbursed. never had such issues with amex offers.
If you used it before it disappeared, you should get it, I did, it just took like a week. It almost seems like the email came out right after they removed it.
Dangit I just used my Chase card to buy food at McDs today before noticing the offer disappeared from my account too... wtf.
I used mine at McD's last week (the only charge on that particular card in over a month). McD's also had an offer on that card. The McD's one I got an email immediately that I had redeemed it. No email for the $5 one, and since it coded as "fast food" assumed it did not work.
Then today I got an email saying I redeemed the $5 one and I confirmed it is in that account. Had I known I would have used the $5 on my other two cards, but they both disappeared. Maybe I'll use them over the next couple weeks and tell chase they owe me $10, but probably not worth the hassle.
Ugh, I had this on all 3 Chase cards. Used one of them at Sonic 12 days ago and never got the credit. Sent a message to their support and they told me to kick rocks because somehow I didn't follow the terms of the promotion. I was about to try another card tonight, but thankfully I checked to see the jerks pulled the offers early. Not just the $5 off $10 dining offer, but ALL the Chase offers I had loaded onto my card.
This is seriously shady at best. Filing a complaint with the BBB will be worthless. Is there anywhere one can report this blatant bait-and-switch?
Are you supposed to see a refund credit transaction for the $5? My card shows I redeemed and my "earn to date" reflects the $5 but I don't see it on my transactions.
