This motherboard has a Flash Bios Button for updating the bios without CPU, OS or RAM
I must have missed something in the years since I have upgraded my computer. Since when is WiFi a thing in desktops? It's a plus but not enough to take points off.
Most houses, and especially apartments, don't have ethernet wiring, but nearly all of them have wifi these days.

I actually don't think the Pro line has it.

Bought this mobo new a year ago and have had no issues. Can't speak to the reliability of a refurbished one. If you want to future proof could look into a DDR5 mobo, but this looks like a good value for most people's needs.

bought one for my newly purchased 13700k from microcenter. I'm judt trying to spend the least amount of money to switch from my amd 3900x lol, but this seems like a solid budget MB after reflash.

I bought an open box Asus Prime Z690-P WiFi with DDR5 support for $160 from B&H Photo a couple months ago, so look around for deals if you want DDR5 support. They are starting to pop up.

It's dumb desktops don't include wifi since they have multiple of everything else

Bought a 13600k at Microcenter last week and going to give this a try also.Had picked up An Asrock B660m Steel Legend a couple of weeks ago for $115 from amazon , haven't tried it yet , have been watching for a better MB/deal. I still have a couple weeks left on my return window.

Guess there's lots of dumb desktop out there than. Beyond z boards and a few feature full boards, most still don't include wifi last I checked.

Bought an am4 board from Woot, DOA. Got a replacement and DOA as well, and I confirmed all of my other parts worked so the point of failure was the motherboard. Relatively painless return but you have to email them, not automatic like amazon

I built a 12700k system with this board about a year ago. The onboard lan (Intel I225-V) can be problematic. I had a few issues with it early on but seems to have been solved with subsequent driver updates. Having never owned an MSI motherboard and coming from previous builds with higher end Asus and gigabyte boards the bios ui of at least this particular board doesn't seem nearly as polished. All in all though it's been very solid thus far.
