This was 99 last week, suggest to hold off for sale. If you need it now then still a pretty good package.

Show me the last time you see it, or prove it, if it's really $99 on that 4 item, even the glue pen is really new item in usb lithium family.

I have the power cutter. It's alright, but all of them have a pretty big design flaw allowing the blade to jump over the bottom part and jam up.

Can't really tell from the pics, but does it look like you can remove the guard? At least, without damaging the tool...

^ Very useful when an SD User comments that the price was cheaper "last week", but there's no SD Post about that price drop from that User.
I mean, you can take their comment for what it is and decide if you want to look more into it yourself. You're not entitled to someone digging up a link for you. Do it yourself or ignore them.

If you remove it then it won't really work. Think of it like electric scissors. The bottom part has the second blade and the spinning blade makes contact with that which is where you cut is done.

Not sure about you. If it is true info regarding the recent price of the item being discussed, it is useful to me.

You think I would make that Comment without researching IF this kit WAS posted on SD, first?

And my Comment didn't ask him for anything.

I don't need him to tell me he didn't post it @ 99 Dollars.

In fact: at least TWO SD Users knew it was 99 Dollars, he posted the screen shot, proving he was correct …. So how about you now show me a screen shot of EITHER of them making an SD Post for this set @ 99$ ….
....take this somewhere else. People posted useful information about this deal being cheaper before. That in itself is useful. Just because it wasn't posted as deal before in slickdeals doesn't make it less helpful. Even after the screenshot was posted you're still here ranting.

Regarding the deal, I bought these last time and returned. I have a lot of the 18v tools and most of the 40v for landscape but was not a fan of these usb ones. Not sure what I was expecting

I remember the post. It sat in my cart for a while until I decided I didn't need any of the 12v.

These are 4v 2Ah batteries.
I suspect these might be okay for some light due to use. I've had a Dremel 4 volt rotary tool before and it wasn't extremely useful for anything other than doing the dog's nails. And I wonder how long the batteries would last with the glue gun?
There are no reviews on the Home Depot site so if anyone has experience with these please chime in.
