This was 99 last week, suggest to hold off for sale. If you need it now then still a pretty good package.

I have the RRT200 rotery tool but I've been debating exchanging it for a cordless one. Does anyone know how this one would compare?

You think I would make that Comment without researching IF this kit WAS posted on SD, first?

And my Comment didn't ask him for anything.

I don't need him to tell me he didn't post it @ 99 Dollars.

In fact: at least TWO SD Users knew it was 99 Dollars, he posted the screen shot, proving he was correct …. So how about you now show me a screen shot of EITHER of them making an SD Post for this set @ 99$ ….
You need help. Bigger problems in the world bro.

Not even close in performance consider this cordless version as light duty.

TVM01 will be somewhere in the middle closer to the plug in one.

Anyone use these before? I have many of the full sized ryobi tools, but none of the usb lithium
I bought this for the cutter and the glue pen. Tested out the cutter and cardboard and thick carpeting. Worked great on both, but it will jam up even on light cardboard if you try to over push it. There's a few videos on YouTube discussion proper ways to use it. Do you need it? Maybe, I found it cuts better then scissors or a utility knife, if you care about the final product. For demolition it's still faster but any other tool will work as well.

Interesting. Don't see a post for this on slickdeals anywhere when searching Ryobi USB Combo.

Still not a buyer at $99 though, nor the product line at this point. I like the idea of the smaller battery compared to the One+ line, but most of the tools offered now either have too much overlap with what I have, and most other have, or it is just a niche product.

For example, Dremel is pretty well established in the rotary tool segment, but the One+ rotary tool is attractive in that the tool itself is both portable and the tool itself is light weight compared to a portable dremel. Add in that if you have One+ tools already, you are already in the One+ ecosystem and it makes sense to expand. Its a good value proposition.

They basically need a better selection of starter tools that demonstrate why you should invest in this new line rather than buying a One+ equivalent, or a dremel, non-ryobi glue gun, and non-ryobi cutter for almost the same money. Until they do that, I am not sure this line will take off.. which could leave it being sunset and off the market in 1-2 years.

^ Very useful when an SD User comments that the price was cheaper "last week", but there's no SD Post about that price drop from that User.
Look at this guy. Should people worship you too? Everyone now has to make sure to post EVERY sale ever on SD. Because if it's not, then your comment is now invalid. laugh out loudlaugh out loud

It was not a good price then, and it's not a good price now. No one needs to post every 'deal' on Slick Deals, it's a waste of time. It feels like the Slick Deals community is dying and posts like this just push it over the edge lol.

If you think this is a good deal at this price, buy it, but these are garbage compared to the value you get from other tool lines and their batteries. The only thing this 4v has going for it is the carver and cutter. Even then I would not spend over $30 for each of those with a single battery, and that still would not be a slick deal. There is plenty of time to buy these cheaper along their journey to clearance.

These are either made for a use that does not exist yet, or they're really badly planned kids toys. Either way they're definitely bait for people that don't have real tools or a use for said real tools.
