Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.
Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.
If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.
Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.
if u like to take pics of the moon or like larger zoom u better get the p7pro it takes such amazing pics.the camera is totally untouchable even by SLRs and u still gets about 4yrs of camera updates which other phones u get zero updates
at pre launch i got the total upgrade price of 177 tax included from 6pro to 7pro with no activation needed at best buy which was better then google and i could hand over my phone in person but they took so many orders and had very limited stock so they cancelled most orders

If anyone wants to upgrade from a Pixel Pro 6 to a Pixel Pro 7, they can purchase through Google store and a $440 trade-in credit. Then, after the purchase, you can submit a price match for the BestBuy price of $600 for an additional $150 off. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/goog...Id=6519915
That brings the price to $160 + about $44 in taxes for my location.
Seems like the cheapest upgrade path that I have found.
Did you know if Google will take into account of the superfan code if you use one when you do the price match?
I've confirmed with chat support that the BestBuy deal does qualify for price-match. The sucky part with Google is that you have to purchase at full price first and then submit a price-match refund so I haven't pulled the trigger just yet.
I just chatted support and they say the best buy offer requires activation so they would only price match if you ordered anything other than the "unlocked" version. So would not work for me since I am neither on att or Verizon.
Have Galaxy S21 thinking of Pixel 7. Is this a good upgrade?
If it is a good upgrade why would you hesitate?
I have a spare Pixel 3 that can be used to buy Pixel 7 for $280.
But I still prefer my S20+ with a bigger, nicer, display and SD card.
Yes Pixel 7 has a slightly faster chip and will get more software updates.
But to me those are not so important. To get me to upgrade and sacrifice the SD card slot the new phone has to be much better than Pixel 7.
Do you have a screen protector? I had the same experience as you until I installed a "certified" screen protector. Ever since I installed one that Google officially approved my fp sensor has been great
With great audio, ANC, and a fantastic transparency mode, the Pixel Buds Pro deliver a premium earbud experience in ways Google's past attempts couldn't. If you're an Android user with $200 to spend on earbuds, these are a great pick.

I got a different reply from chat support which is why it never hurts to ask again. I do have the chat history save but this still gives me pause as the Verizon version is considerably more expensive.

My understanding of the superfan code is that it gives you a $100 credit towards a future purchase. I don't think it would be an issue but I did not ask about it specifically.

OK, I did chat with a Google support rep again and asked them specifically about the Activate Today option.

Kindly note the price match will be applicable on Active later plans not on the Active today plans.
The activate today plan is applicable for the user who activates today and it will not be applicable in the price match terms and conditions.

Looks like they do not price match with the Activate Today price according to this other rep. She did not mention if the unlocked or carrier models mattered.
