Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.

Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.

If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.

Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.

That's wierd but maybe it's just with the standard 7, my 7 pro is almost flawless, captures and loads as quick and as accurate as my old oneplus 8t. Currently I have A dose of liquid glass over it and a tpu screen protector, my 7 pro was however horrible at fingerprint recognition when I tried 2 tempered glass screen protectors.

Anyone who bought a pixel and used a superfan code got their $100 yet? I saw in another comment someone said it only works on full price items and not pixels, but that doesnt seem to make sense since I think the coupon specifically mentions buying a pixel phone.

Going from my pixel 5 to pixel 7 is basically the same experience, just heavier and larger screen.

Used to be into higher end IEMs and primarily used the Shure SE535 and Ultimate Ears Triple.Fi 10s for many years. I got the Pixel Buds 2 and the convenience led me to stop using my wired IEMs. Switched to the Pixel Buds Pro and feel like it's a solid step up from the previous gen Pixel Buds. Many have fit issues, but I felt they were more comfortable as the wings on the last gen would irritate my ears after an hour. The addition of ANC is what won me over. The touch gestures are solid too. I'd recommend them easily for $150. Sound quality is pretty solid as long as you have a good fit and there was an added EQ since it release.

From what I can see you can apply the super fan code but only takes $100 off the phone and not the $150. I think the best thing is the trade in offers are up for all phones. That's why it would be good to use it and get the $100 code for an additional purchase later. I still have some super fan codes too.

You can get an additional $100 in the form of a Google store promo credit using a Pixel Superfan referral code. It will come in the form of a promo code good for a single use on a non sale item via the Google Store. I am a Pixel Superfan. Do with that information what you wish.

The Pixel watch is nice- very smooth and great screen. I just don't like the rounded edges on it. Feel's like I'm going to crack it the first time it hits the edge of a door or something.

I switched back to my Galaxy 4 Classic. I feel like that was the last great smartwatch :/

Wondering if it would be worth trying to trade in my black screen of death / hard bricked Pixel 5a... Tried to flash it back to Android while I couldn't see what was happening on the screen, due to screen failure, and I think the flash failed or I messed up somewhere in the flash process. It "turns on", so technically the answer is "yes" to that - when Google asks the 2nd or 3rd question about phone condition... Just not sure it's worth sending in + spending $100+ for a 6a, even if they approved it

I have an iPhone SE 3rd gen. Is it worth trading it towards the Pixel 6a where I'd get $210 for it (paid $100 for the SE) and getting the 6a for $90?

I was looking to get the Pixel 7 possibly too, but I just want to try the Pixel's software without breaking the bank.

Pixel 7 would run me $259. I was looking at going for the 7a later this year possibly and thought the 6a would be a good hold over.

How reliable is Google's trade in process?

Same experience here. Overall, I think the phone is great...but my old OnePlus 7T had a perfect fingerprint scanner and it's 3 years old. Really disappointed in this scanner.

You'll get the $100 when the program ENDS in July. Until then, literally no one will get the $100 credit. It's in the fine print and I personally confirmed it with Google store reps back in December through online chat and in person (through the NYC google stores).

OMG. You're right! I thought it was 8-10 weeks after order shipped! Looks like only 1 months to use the promotional code (within 8-10 weeks after 6/30/23 and before 9/30/23).
