40 Lumens? Night lights put out more lumens. Don't seem to useful to me.

Also, run time is an issue. 7 hours on 3 AAA batteries? Yikes!

FYI: needs 3 triple AAA batteries each

(description says included, but for some reason I don't see them giving you 18 batteries.)

Probably only includes batteries for the remote.

I wonder if these would work well as under cabinet lighting?

Yes, they could be. The HD reviews shows pictures of this use case.

Good point!!! Now that you say it, that seems most logical.

If anyone can chime in who's bought these that would help people out with a review.

I'm in for 2. If I don't find a use for them I'm sure my 3 year old will enjoy them

Can these run on a schedule? I want them for cabinet lighting but only in night. Don't want to use remote daily to start and stop the lights.

Tape remote under cabinet. Press when in need of additional lighting.

Considering same thing

They do. But I recommend not to buy them just because they run out of battery charge in quick time. I had similar puck lights from Costco for under caninet lights but they leaked charge and I had to replace Duracell batteries AAA for another set of Duracell batteries but they didn't last long either. I gave up on them after that.

These would be great for those nooks and crannies lighting that aren't used often, but PITA to hold a flashlight in hand. Behind PC under the desk, under bed storage, cabinets at a dark area etc.

Since most can't read the full description Operates for 7-hours on 3AAA heavy-duty batteries and spec as 40 Lumens, 4 m throw

If they were interconnected I'd rig it to a 4.5 v power pack or usb cable. instead of battery but to many wires

That's why I bought these about a year ago. But after a few months they started falling down and were obviously dimming after just a couple weeks. It was cute for about a month and then went straight to the bin.
