Two hours runtime at a pretty low 80 lumens with three AAA batteries each seems a little like 20 year old technology. I have flashlights that run longer with 120 lumen with one battery.

Hoping that these might prove useful for lighting up the 2 metal cabinets I got for $40 each a few years back. They are really dark inside and since the cabinets are metal the lights should be easy to install (lights have magnetic backing)

Damn, I really hope this brand's head strap lights that HD has been selling $10 for 3 doesn't have this same problem, they're very bright and I've been very happy with them so far.

I just plan to use these like old school push lights [amazon.com] IE only activated for a brief time when I need light in an area that doesn't have easy access to a power source/outlet.

It's a shame that these don't have motion activation as they would have been perfect when opening closet doors or cabinets. However, I plan to Velcro attach the remote for these lights inside of a dark cabinet to be able turn them on all at once when I need the extra light.
