I created a new Google account to sign up with, but in order to use it here in the US I had to add it to my existing Google account. Now when I go to You Tube Premium it shows my original Google account and the newly created account. It asks which account I want to use. To watch You Tube Premium I clicked on the newly created account and haven't had to do it everytime I watch, it will stay signed into that account unless you switch to a different account. All my other services remain signed into my original Google account.
My impression is it wasn't really necessary to create a new account. I guess I could have just used my existing account but signed up for Premium in Argentina with the VPN.
Anyway, you don't need the VPN to watch once you sign up, as long as you use the account you used when signing up.
