These have been the best shoes for working as a nurse. I'm an ICU nurse so I do more standing than walking but these keep me from limping out of work each day.

They are good daily trainers, I have some glycerines, and they have lasted much longer than i've wanted them to. They have a pretty high drop 12mm you can research and see if you would prefer a low drop shoe, but for most people they don't really care about the drop. You will end up adapting to low or high drop.

I have the adrenaline which replaced Asics Gel Nimbus for me so I might as well give these a try for this price. I don't care if they're hot green, if that's the color I gotta buy so be it. I assume if I run 11.5 for adrenalines I'd run 11.5 for ghosts? That's what I ordered.

Every version gets worse. Just got my first pair of 14s Never had to worry about shoelaces staying tired while running, now do. Have pain in feet from running and walking in them like you get once you get a few hundred miles on them. Really stinks how much they get worse every iteration. They just don't even feel the same in quality around the ankles.

Haha, that made me chuckle... Brooks always last longer than you want them to. You'll probably get bored of running in them before they wear out. Definitely a no-frills (heavy) trainer made for the masses.

It's not wide wide, but slightly wide. Just like Under Armour's or Saucony's running shoes wide. Usually running shoes is pretty narrow than normal.

I got a pair of saucony endorphine speed 2 from the christmas sale for like $60, i think they are like a 6mm drop. Saucony Kinvana are like 4mm. From what i've read higher drops promote heel striking, lower drops promote forefoot and midfoot strking when running. .
