These have been the best shoes for working as a nurse. I'm an ICU nurse so I do more standing than walking but these keep me from limping out of work each day.

They are good daily trainers, I have some glycerines, and they have lasted much longer than i've wanted them to. They have a pretty high drop 12mm you can research and see if you would prefer a low drop shoe, but for most people they don't really care about the drop. You will end up adapting to low or high drop.

It's not wide wide, but slightly wide. Just like Under Armour's or Saucony's running shoes wide. Usually running shoes is pretty narrow than normal.
Yeah. I would need extra extra wide then Frown. I want to try to brooks shoes so bad but they need to realize not everyone has narrow feet.

Thanks for the links. Is this a reputable seller? Looks like customer pays for returns.

6pm is the discount retail division of Zappos. I've used them before without issue.

I wish you had something constructive to say. Brook shoes are quality shoes.

This. Alternate between them and Adrenaline. I think I like the Adrenaline slightly better but they're both fantastic.
How is it switching between a "support" shoe and a neutral one? Beginner runner (really just gym/treadmill running). Never used a support/stability shoe before, but the quiz on their site and in-store try ons made them feel comfortable. I actually just ordered a pair of 14s and Adrenaline 22s for actually cheaper than this (lol) through a work-related discount. Thinking of using the Adrenaline's when I plan on running more/maybe if I get into outdoor running, and the Ghosts for normal gym/trainers with mild running.

I grabbed ghost 14 before from prior Dick's deal at similar price. Because their sale is less frequnt than others, i had somewhat high expectation, but I felt it's very similar to NB 880 or Asics Cumulus in terms of cushion and comfort after all.

Well. Let me rephrase it. Brooks EE(wide) is like Under Armor or Saucony EE (wide). Just to make sure I conveyed it right. If you have wider feet, i suggest just go half size up, with EE(wide).

My go to running shoe for the past few years. Ordered a pair of the greens since they were the only ones in size 10. Thanks OP!

Every version gets worse. Just got my first pair of 14s Never had to worry about shoelaces staying tired while running, now do. Have pain in feet from running and walking in them like you get once you get a few hundred miles on them. Really stinks how much they get worse every iteration. They just don't even feel the same in quality around the ankles.
I've also heard they use lower quality materials and have become garbage over time. Disappointing, but that is how everything is going it seems. Hell, All Clad uses Chinese handles nowadays.

I've had the Brooks 12, 13 and 14. The 14 has flat laces which are less durable and don't stay tied as well as the older round laces. The tread surface is thinner. The material over the heel cap is not as abrasion resistant. I still like them, but I prefer the older design.

The ghost is more plush - better for high mileage training. The levitate is more of a springy response - oddly it's also heavier.
