Using a card payment processor at 2.9% you'd be able to cycle $4,000 for $116 in fees - add the $69 card fee and you're at $185 for Companion Pass and 34,000 points, which is a solid deal for 11 months of pass.

I got the Priority card a little over a year ago. I was able to add the card to ApplePay before getting the physical card.

Once the card appears in your accounts in the Chase app

go to the card,
click Show More under Account Services
Click Digital Wallets
I was able to add the card to ApplePay. GPay and Paypal are also offered but I did not try to add those.

Hope this helps someone. It's possible they changed this since I did do it over a year ago.

Is the Priority Card the best one to get since you get $75 travel credit and 7500 points? Also 4 upgraded boardings.

Am I reading the terms correctly that current SW cardholders aren't eligible for the 30,000 bonus miles, but ARE eligible for the companion pass?

"30,000 Bonus Points After You Spend $4,000 On Purchases In The First 3 Months From Account Opening: The product is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of any Southwest Rapid Rewards® Credit Card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of any Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card who received a new Cardmember bonus within the last 24 months." I don't see similar limitations on the companion pass.

I currently have the Premier Card (SUB received over 36 months ago). If I cancel that Premier card, how long do I need to wait to apply for the Priority Card.

30K points is too few. One year CP is okay if you plan to fly a lot this year. Otherwise, lukewarm deal.
