I was able to add the card to ApplePay. GPay and Paypal are also offered but I did not try to add those.

Does this promo work if I use someone's SWA referral link?
The 30k points and CC still apply even when using someone's SWA referral link.
Can you elaborate on the card payment processor angle?
For the most recent card I applied for, the temporary number was not working after about 24 hours - so I called cardholder services and they activated it. Not sure if this is a recent security change or just a one-time personal issue, but if you have trouble just give them a ring.
McCheese is incorrect. Chase won't provide CC number, expiration or 3 digit code online. You have to wait for the physical card to arrive. You used to be able to get the CC number by sending a secure message on Chase.com, but that hasn't worked in some time. You may be able to request expedited delivery via secure message, but it's possible they'll refuse because these aren't any of their premium cards (e.g. Sapphire).

I don't see similar limitations on the companion pass.
Unfortunately current card holders are out of luck and are not eligible for this promotion. We cannot get the 30k points or the companion pass.
It's a bummer since I just got my Priority card last December so it's fairly recent; on the bright side when you qualify for Companion Pass via points you get to keep it for the entire duration of 2023/2024.
I also asked if I would be eligible if I closed my current credit card and reopened it during the current promotion. This would not work as the promo requires a 12-month wait period between closing/opening accounts.

Math:
$70 credit card yearly fee. $4000 spend.
$200+ savings from one companion pass round trip flight.
($200-$70)/$4000 = 3% return
Factor in the 30k miles and that probably paid for your other $200 ticket, giving you a 6% return on money spent on this card.
Some people have or know someone with a small businesses or gigs they obtain a credit card terminal for. You charge your card and the bank funds the business account after deducting about 3%.
