Using a card payment processor at 2.9% you'd be able to cycle $4,000 for $116 in fees - add the $69 card fee and you're at $185 for Companion Pass and 34,000 points, which is a solid deal for 11 months of pass.
I got the Priority card a little over a year ago. I was able to add the card to ApplePay before getting the physical card.
Once the card appears in your accounts in the Chase app
go to the card,
click Show More under Account Services
Click Digital Wallets
I was able to add the card to ApplePay. GPay and Paypal are also offered but I did not try to add those.
Hope this helps someone. It's possible they changed this since I did do it over a year ago.
Have done the CP many times. This looks like an easy way to get it. Too bad I have no desire to fly anymore.

Did a referral from my Chase SW card for the wife and got approved immediately last night. Called this morning and able to expedite card. Was able to add it to Apply Pay as it showed up in the account. But unable to add to PayPal or Google Pay. Really needed PayPal for appliance purchase at Home Depot to hit the spending and sales end today but unfortunately no go there. Apple pay shows last 4 digits but no way to know the full account number or 3 digit code.
Did you see the free companion pass when using the referral? When I use my friend's referral, the offer I get is:
You've been invited to apply for theSouthwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card.
Wanna earn 50,000 points?
Earn 50,000 points after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
Then, further down it says:
All points earned with your card count toward Companion Pass®—including points earned with this offer.
Which is different than the offer I see when I click directly from the SW page.

I have a Chase SW card and I just got an email saying I could refer my friends with the $30K/Companion Pass offer but it had a unique link, maybe they sent their normal referral link?

So what is the benefit to the recipient of the referral link? Is there something additional from this CP + 30K offer?

Option 2) Combination of Business (Don't need to own biz) and Personal Card and 135k points and 22 months of CP.
Seems like Option 2 is significantly better if your credit can take the hit and you can reach the spend.
SOUTHWEST RAPID REWARDS® PERFORMANCE BUSINESS
$199 AF, 80k Points, $5k Spend
and
Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card
$99 AF, 50k Points, $1k Spend
or
Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card
$149 AF, 50k Points, $1k Spend + $75 SW Travel Credit
Key Difference:
Both options end up with CP but the 2nd option gives you and extra 100k in SW Points as well as an extra 10 months of travel on CP.
If anyone else's interested, let me know and we can split the referral.
You just charge them, they credited me almost the next day
