I will say I compared the taste to my Kraft mayo and the taste didn't seem that much different. Maybe a bit more tangy, but nothing special

It comes in a squeeze bottle
I have never seen Kewpie mayonnaise at my Costco. Meijer sells it for $9 per bottle. This Amazon deal is very good price for 2 bottles.
Kewpie mayonnaise is a must for takoyaki, okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Taste of Japanese street food.
Is not in a bag, nice try lame

I agree that it's just a mayo, but I personally feel this is the best mayo I've ever had. I totally disagree that it is runny, and I think you have altered perception based on squeezing it out of a bottle. It's at least as thick as Helmann's or Duke's if not thicker. Japanese mayo uses only yokes where as American mayo uses whole eggs. This leads to Kewpie being a little richer.
I find that store bought mayonnaise falls into two categories. The more acidic like Duke's, or the more mild creamy style like Blue Plate. For me, Kewpie strikes the perfect balance of both.
I also love the squeeze container and wish they all had it.
I like Kewpie better than Duke's for most things. Kewpie is far creamier than Duke's. Duke's shines on acidity. If I'm doing cole slow with pulled pork, I'd probably choose the Duke's.
Made with only yokes, so it's creamier. Has more acidity like Duke's.
