Do you know if this still works? I thought I read something from Microsoft last year ending this loophole.
Set up 1 month auto redeem in the Game Pass xbox app for 10500 points. Is the superior value.
Waste of time for anyone with even a minimum wage job. I do rewards, but only what I would do naturally. You can go work at McDonalds for an hour and make more than 10x what the same hour spent doing these rewards will give you.

It's not saving money. You can spend those rewards on gift cards for places where you can't get a discount like this. Buying these cheap is saving money. Slave labor wages like you suggest is not saving anything. Time is money guy.
