This deal is interesting because whoever likes this kind of music has already listened to this album many times, and whoever didn't, I wonder if they'd like it from the first try and which song?
What's your favorite Miles Davis album at the moment? (mine's Porgy and Bess)
This is my favorite. The variations of Flamenco Sketches are superb.

This is a public domain release, meaning some outfit in Europe ripped Kind of Blue CD and now wants to sell you the digital files for $2. Only a complete shmuck would pay for pirated music.
Kind of Blue is the Dark Side of the Moon of Jazz albums. Or, perhaps, the other way around. For you kiddies who don't get either reference, both are kind of like the Tik Tok of stuff that actually matters.
went to the newport jazz fest 2 times to see this guy and both times he was a no show
You should write him an angry letter asking for a refund.
Seriously though, he was notorious for not being a reliable performer. Extremely shy, had serious drug issues, and had a reputation for not wanting to play for certain kinds of audiences, which I'm sure you know what I mean but let's not get into that here. But, otherwise a brilliant composer, bandleader and trumpet player who was easily one of the most important figures in 20th century music in any genre, right up here with Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Ravel, Stravinsky, Elvis and the Beatles.

You're ALMOST right.
This is an album you can listen to 6 times and unless you're super picky, don't notice (or mind) that it's played again.
