Stuff is pretty good for bagged tea. You can get better loose leaf stuff for more money and hassle. Good enough for me, in for one. Thanks OP

Probably true, though loose leaf is usually less waste and fewer microplastics in your drink.

I don't believe these bags contain any plastics. That old video with the study that found plastics in twinings, tetley and yorkshire was from years ago with the tri bags and I believe twinings has gone to plastic-free in 99% of their offerings since then which includes these.

Not a bad price. I ordered a box of 100 of the same brand from Amazon, but "English breakfast" about a year ago for just under $8. Inflation jacked it up $2, but I'm due for a reorder. In for 1.

Check your local stores, if you never tried this brand/tea, they sell variety boxes to try. They have Irish one which is a bit stronger and they have british breakfast which doesn't have bergamont that earl gray does, then they have Lady Gray with a bit more flavourful finish. Suggest try all those, like others said this is good stuff, your next best is Ahmad Tea. That stuff in green box is very good.

If you are into fancy stuff, Republic of Tea is very smooth but not as potent so I do 2 bags of those stuff, the are damn expensive though.

So I'm not really sure if this is a deal or not. It already was on of my S&S picks and the last time it shipped, two months ago, it was $9.90. So either it's the same price and I guess I should have told everyone about the great savings, or it's the normal price.

As far as the taste for those new... it's black tea with some bergamot peel added. So if you like black tea, try adding a small squeeze of a lemon wedge to your tea and if you like that, then you will probably like this.
